一語真空出世間。可憐迷者蟾循環。此生勝坐三禪樂。好句長吟萬事閑。秋月圓來看盡夜。野雲散去落何山。到頭自了方為了。休執他經扣祖關。

A single word of true emptiness transcends the world; / Pitiful are the deluded who revolve like the hare and the toad. / This life surpasses the joy of sitting in the third dhyāna; / Chanting fine verses at length, the myriad matters are at ease. / When the autumn moon is full, one watches it through the night; / As the wild clouds disperse, upon which mountain do they fall? / In the end, only when you liberate yourself are you truly liberated; / Cease clinging to other scriptures to knock at the Patriarchal barrier.
