29.42

世間諸法如幻。生死猶若雷電。法身自在圓通。出入山河無間。顛倒妄想本空。般若無迷無亂。三毒本自解脫。何須攝念禪觀。只為愚人不了。從他戒律決斷。不識寂滅真如。何時得登彼岸。智者無惡可斷。運用隨心合散。法性本來空寂。不為生死所絆。若欲斷除煩惱。此是無明癡漢。煩惱即是菩提。何用別求禪觀。實際無佛無魔。心體無形無段。

All worldly dharmas are like illusions; / Birth and death are just like thunder and lightning. / The Dharmakāya is at ease and completely penetrating, / Entering and exiting mountains and rivers without obstruction. / Inverted delusive thoughts are fundamentally empty; / Prajñā is without delusion and without confusion. / The three poisons are fundamentally liberated; / Why is there need to restrain thought in dhyāna contemplation? / Merely because foolish people do not understand, / They submit to precepts and regulations for decisions. / Not recognizing the True Suchness of quiescence, / When can they ascend to the other shore? / The wise have no evil to sever; / Their functioning gathers and disperses according to the mind. / The Dharma-nature is fundamentally empty and tranquil, / Not bound by birth and death. / If one wishes to sever afflictions, / This is an ignorant fool. / Affliction is itself Bodhi; / What need is there to seek separate dhyāna contemplation? / In the true reality there is no Buddha and no māra; / The substance of mind has no form and no parts.
