一滴滴水一焰焰火。飲水人醉向火人老。不飲不向無復安臥。抝折弓箭蹋倒射垛。若人要知先去鉤錐。人須問我我是阿誰。快道快道。

Drop by drop of water, flame by flame of fire. / The person drinking water gets drunk; the person facing fire grows old. / Neither drinking nor facing, they no longer lie down peacefully. / Breaking bows and arrows, trampling down archery targets. / If someone wants to know, first remove the hooks and awls. / People must ask me: who am I? / Speak quickly!
