祖又曰。汝名什麼。對曰。名法達。祖曰。汝名法達。何曾達法。復說偈曰。
The Patriarch asked again: "What is your name?" He replied: "My name is Fada." The Patriarch said: "Your name is Fada (Dharma-Penetrator), yet when have you ever penetrated the Dharma?" He spoke another verse, saying:
