5.84

師先天二年十月十七日安坐示滅。十一月十三日塔于西山之陽。勅諡無相大師。塔曰淨光。宋朝淳化中太宗皇帝詔本州重修龕塔。

On the seventeenth day of the tenth month in the second year of Xiantian, the Master sat peacefully and manifested extinction. On the thirteenth day of the eleventh month, his stūpa was erected on the sunny side of West Mountain. By imperial decree he was posthumously titled Great Master Wuxiang, and his stūpa was named Jingguang. During the Chunhua era of the Song dynasty, Emperor Taizong decreed that the local prefecture renovate the shrine and stūpa.
