師一日令仰山將床子來。仰山將到。師云。却送本處。仰山從之。師云。床子那邊是什麼物。仰山云。無物。師云遮邊是什麼物。仰山云。無物。師召云慧寂。仰山云諾。師云去。

One day, the master told Yangshan to bring a bench. Yangshan brought it. The master said, "Take it back to its original place." Yangshan complied. The master said, "What thing is on that side of the bench?" Yangshan said, "No thing." The master said, "What thing is on this side?" Yangshan said, "No thing." The master called, "Huiji!" Yangshan said, "Yes?" The master said, "Go."
