9.35

忍仙林下坐禪時　曾被歌王割截支
況我聖朝無此事　只今休道亦何悲

"When the Forbearing Immortal sat in dhyāna beneath the trees,
His limbs were once severed by the King of Kaliṅga.
Much more so in our sagely dynasty, where there is no such thing:
Just stopping the Path now—what is there to grieve?"
