11.60

蘇州吳江聖壽志昇禪師上堂。若論佛法更有甚麼事。所以道。古今山河古今日月古今人倫古今城廓。喚作平等法門絕前後際。諸人還信得及麼。若信得及依而行之。久立珍重。

Chan Master Zhisheng of Shengshou in Wujiang, Suzhou, ascended the hall: "If we speak of the Buddhadharma, what else is there? Therefore it is said: The mountains and rivers of past and present, the sun and moon of past and present, human relations of past and present, the cities and towns of past and present—this is called the equal Dharma gate that cuts off the bounds of before and after. Can you all believe in this fully? If you can believe in it fully, practice according to it. Standing long, take care!"
