13.33

蘇州穹窿智圓禪師上堂。福臻不說禪。無事日高眠。有問祖師意。連擉兩三拳。大眾且道。為什麼如此。不合惱亂山僧睡。

Chan Master Zhiyuan of Qionglong in Suzhou ascended the hall: / 'Fuzhen does not speak of Chan; / With nothing to do, he sleeps late into the day. / If someone asks about the Patriarch's intent, / He punches two or three times in a row.' / Assembly, tell me, why is it like this? / It is improper to disturb this mountain monk's sleep."
