台州真如道會禪師上堂。空劫中事自肯承當。日用全彰有何滲漏。正好歸家穩坐。任他雪覆青山。不留元字挂懷。誰顧波翻水面。且道。正不立玄偏不附物。一句如何舉似機絲不挂梭頭事。文彩縱橫意自殊。

Chan Master Daohui of Zhenru in Taizhou ascended the hall and said, 'When you personally acknowledge and shoulder the matter before the empty kalpa, then in daily use it is fully manifest—what leakage could there be? It is just the right time to return home and sit securely, letting the snow cover the green mountain. Without letting a single word linger in mind, who pays heed to waves churning on the water's surface? Tell me: "The upright does not establish the mysterious, the biased does not attach to things"—how do you cite this sentence? Loom threads do not hitch the shuttle's head; / Patterns run crisscross, yet the sense is unique of itself.'
