潤州金山佛鑑惟仲禪師。汀州人早圓戒品。游廬山淮淛遍扣宗師。至龜山時白禪師住焉。師入室聞舉庭前柏樹因緣言下契悟。出世磁州惠果。未幾白奉詔住東京法雲。與師俱行遂充首坐。元符三年春。

Chan Master Fojian Weizhong of Jinshan in Runzhou. A native of Tingzhou, he received full ordination early. He traveled through Mount Lu and the Huai-Zhe region, calling on ancestral masters everywhere. When he reached Mount Gui, Master Bai resided there.
