袁州崇勝院珙禪師。上堂舉石鞏張弓架箭接機公案。頌曰。三十年來握箭弓。三平纔到擘開胸。半箇聖人終不得。大顛弦外幾時逢。

Chan Master Gong of Chongsheng Monastery in Yuanzhou. Ascending the hall, he cited the gong'an of Shigong drawing his bow and notching an arrow to engage students, and presented a verse: / "For thirty years he held the arrow and bow; / Sanping had just arrived when he tore open his chest. / Half a sage in the end could not be found; / when outside the strings of Dadian can one ever meet?"
