蘄州南烏崖壽聖楚清禪師。僧問。亡僧遷化向甚麼處去。師曰。靈峯水急。曰恁麼則不生也。師曰。蒼天蒼天。

Chan Master Chuqing of Shousheng at South Wuya in Qizhou. A monk asked, 'Where has the deceased monk gone after his transformation?'
The master said, 'The water at Lingfeng is swift.'
The monk said, 'In that case, then there is no birth?'
The master said, 'Heavens above! Heavens above!'
