澧州欽山乾明普初禪師。上堂良久曰。舉揚宗旨上祝皇基。伏願祥雲與景星俱現。醴泉與甘露雙呈。君乃堯舜之君。俗乃成康之俗。使林下野夫不覺成太平曲。且作麼生是太平曲。無為而為神而化之。灑德雨以霶霈。鼓仁風而雍熙。民如野鹿。上如標枝。十八子知不知。哩哩囉囉囉哩。拍一拍下座。

And what is the song of great peace? Non-action yet acting, spiritual and transforming. Sprinkling the rain of virtue in great torrents; stirring the wind of benevolence in harmony and joy. The people are like wild deer; the ruler is like the topmost branch. Does the son of eighteen know or not? Li-li-luo-luo-luo-li.' Clapping once, he descended the seat.
