明州蘆山無相法真禪師。江南李主之裔也。上堂。欲明向上事。須具頂門眼。若具頂門眼。始契出家心。既契出家心。常具頂門眼。要會頂門眼麼。四京人著衣喫飯。兩浙人飽暖自如。通玄峯頂香風清花發蟠桃三四株。

Chan Master Wuxiang Fazhen of Lushan in Mingzhou was a descendant of Ruler Li of Jiangnan. Ascending the hall: "To understand the matter of transcendence, one must possess the eye on the top of the head. If one possesses the eye on the top of the head, one first accords with the mind of leaving household life. Having accorded with the mind of leaving household life, one constantly possesses the eye on the top of the head. Do you wish to understand the eye on the top of the head? People of the four capitals wear clothes and eat food; people of the Two Zhes are warm, fed, and free. Atop the peak of Tongxuan, the fragrant breeze is clear; three or four coiled peach trees burst into bloom."
