潭州三角智堯禪師上堂。揑土定千鈞。秤頭不立蠅。箇中些子事。走殺嶺南能。還有薦得底麼。直饒薦得也是第二月。

Chan Master Zhiyao of Sanjiao in Tanzhou ascended the hall and said, "Pinching earth determines a thousand jun; on the tip of the steelyard not a fly can stand. The slight matter within this drove Neng of Lingnan to death. Is there still anyone who grasps it? Even if you grasp it, it is still the second moon."
