上曰。不與萬法為侶可參乎。師對。老龐致此一問。直得驚天動地超今古脫是非離言說無依倚。正如　陛下至尊至貴大道本然。

The Emperor said, "Can one investigate 'not taking the ten thousand phenomena as companions'?" The Master replied, "When Old Pang posed this question, it directly shook heaven and earth, transcended past and present, cast off right and wrong, departed from speech, and had nothing to rely upon. It is just like Your Majesty being supremely revered and supremely noble, the Great Way being inherently so."
