韶州佛陀山崇欽禪師。僧問。如何是和尚直截為人一句。師打一拂子曰。會麼。僧云。不會。師曰。逢人莫錯舉。

Chan Master Chongqin of Mount Fotuo in Shaozhou: A monk asked, "What is the Upādhyāya's direct phrase for guiding people?" The Master struck him with his fly-whisk and said, "Do you understand?" The monk said, "I do not understand." The Master said, "When meeting people, do not cite this incorrectly."
