韶州舜峯慧寶禪師。僧問。步步登高時如何。師曰嶮。云不進不退時如何。師曰。喪。云如何即是。師曰。蘇嚕蘇嚕。

Chan Master Huibao of Shunfeng in Shaozhou: A monk asked, "How is it when climbing higher step by step?" The Master said, "Perilous." [The monk] said, "How is it when neither advancing nor retreating?" The Master said, "Ruined." [The monk] said, "What then is correct?" The Master said, "Suru suru."
