2.80

付法已。尊者即逞神通。為一十八變。却反其座。泊然寂滅。其時當此周安王之世也。眾遂建塔。以閟其全體。

Having entrusted the Dharma, the Venerable One displayed spiritual powers, performing the eighteen transformations. Then returning to his seat, he peacefully passed into extinction. This took place during the reign of King An of Zhou. The assembly then erected a stūpa to enshrine his whole body.
