3.14

大士付法已。遽超身太虛。逞其神變。乃趣寂滅。以化火自焚。是時當此周𧹞王之世也。龍樹遂斂其五色舍利。建寶塔以閟之。

Having entrusted the Dharma, the Great Being suddenly leaped into the great void, manifested his spiritual transformations, and then proceeded to extinction, burning himself with transformative fire. This was during the time of King Nan of Zhou. Nāgārjuna then gathered his five-coloured relics and erected a jewelled stūpa to enshrine them.
