3.30

已而入奮迅三昧。體放八光。而趣寂滅。其時當此前漢孝文帝之世也。四眾營塔。而梵天助飾。共供養之。

Thereupon he entered the lion-sprint samādhi, his body emitting eight rays of light, and passed into quiescent extinction. That time corresponded to the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Former Han. The fourfold assembly erected a stūpa, and the Brahmā gods assisted in adorning it, offering worship together.
