4.18
付法已。大士即騰身太虛。作一十八變。復其座寂然遷化。四眾闍維已將分去其舍利務各塔之。大士復現。而說偈曰。
Having entrusted the Dharma, the Great Being leapt into the great void and performed the eighteen transformations. Returning to his seat, he peacefully passed away. After the fourfold assembly cremated him, they were about to divide his relics, intending to enshrine them in individual stūpas. The Great Being reappeared and spoke a verse, saying:
