3.50

Kumāralata respectfully received his command, bowing and accepting it with utmost sincerity. The Great Being immediately vaulted up from his seat, performed the eighteen transformations, and then approached the Great Quiescence. Using the fire of samādhi in mid-air, he cremated himself. Relics rained down in profusion; the fourfold assembly caught them and erected stūpas in various places to make offerings to them. This was during the time of Emperor Xiaocheng of the Han dynasty.
