Thereupon, Prajñātāra extended his left and right hands from his seat, each emitting more than seventy rays of five-colored auspicious light. Soon, he soared into the sky to a height of seven tāla trees, and consumed himself with the fire of transformation. Golden relic-grains rained down beyond count. The fourfold assembly collected them, and together with King Candraviśuddha of that kingdom, erected a stūpa to enshrine them. This was during the time of Emperor Xiaowu of the Song dynasty. (Calculated from Bodhidharma's coming to the East sixty-seven years later, this should correspond to the first year of the Xiaojian era of the Song, the jiawu year.)
