又開業寺神德。亦多用常住物。忽暴亡。新豐人姓劉。亦暴亡。見德頭如火山。身作鑊脚。又引同寺上座將去。并引都維那仁敬。師捨衣物陪常住。曉夕精修遂免追攝。

Also, Shende of Kaiye Monastery had likewise misappropriated much permanent property, and suddenly died a violent death. A man of Xinfeng surnamed Liu also died a violent death; he saw Shende's head like a mountain of fire and his body serving as the leg of a caldron. He was also leading away the sthavira of the same monastery, along with the karmadāna Renjing. The Master gave up his robes and goods to compensate the permanent property, and by diligent practice day and night was finally spared from being seized.
