2.95

卿已出家捐世形軀。當務竭情泥洹合符。如何擾動不樂閑居。經道損耗世事有餘。清白不履。反入泥塗。過影之命或在須臾。地獄之痛難可具書。今故誡勵。宜崇典謨。

'You have already renounced household life and abandoned your worldly physical form; you should devote all your effort to bringing about harmony with nirvāṇa. Why are you restless and agitated, finding no joy in quiet seclusion? The scriptural Way wastes away while worldly affairs abound. Not treading the pure and white, you turn back into the mud and mire. A life fleeting as a passing shadow may end in a single moment; the agonies of hell can hardly be written out in full. Now I admonish and exhort you: you should venerate the classic teachings.'
