1.65

淄州有女人。有身十二月不得產。身體疲苦。骨髓𤺄痛。舉聲啼哭。受沙門邁公教。稱藥師名。夢佛自來救。彌信隨唱。苦漸息產男子。人皆謂希奇矣。

In Zizhou there was a woman who was pregnant for twelve months and could not give birth. Her body was exhausted and suffering, her bones and marrow aching intensely, and she wept aloud. Receiving instruction from the śramaṇa Master Mai, she recited the name of Bhaiṣajyaguru. She dreamed that the Buddha personally came to save her. With increasing faith she chanted continuously, the pain gradually ceased, and she gave birth to a boy. Everyone considered it extraordinary.
