3.15

說是偈已。忽然不現。通復見聖眾來迎云。吾生金色世界云云。通在生之時。隱而不語。注遺書收箱。壽終之後。人披見之。其像移照果寺。靈驗見在矣。

Having spoken this verse, he suddenly vanished. Tong again saw an assembly of holy ones coming to welcome him, saying, 'I shall be born in the Golden World,' and so forth. While Tong was alive, he kept this secret and did not speak of it; he wrote it down in his testamentary letter and stored it in a box. After his life came to an end, people opened it and saw it. The image was moved to Zhaoguo Monastery, and its miraculous efficacy exists to this day.
