齊上定林寺釋普明。懺悔為業誦法花。每至勸發。輒見普賢乘白象王在其前云云。

Shi Puming of Upper Dinglin Monastery under the Qi took repentance as his practice and recited the Lotus Sūtra. Whenever he reached the [chapter on] 'Encouragement [of Samantabhadra]', he would unfailingly see Samantabhadra riding the king of white elephants before him, and so on.
