3.55

昔罽賓國有疾病流行。人得病。不過一日二日並死。有婆羅門真諦。時將此像法施行。救療應時消滅。行病鬼王。出於國境矣。

Formerly, in the realm of Kapiśa, an epidemic was raging. When people caught the illness, they all died within no more than a day or two. There was a brāhmaṇa named Paramārtha (Zhendi) who at that time took this image ritual and practiced it; the relief and cure immediately made [the disease] disappear, and the demon king who spread the disease departed beyond the borders of the realm.
