僧伽補羅國（北印度也）周三千五百里。西臨信渡河。大城周十四五里。城東五十里。有石塔高二十餘丈佛所遊處。池沼十餘。四色蓮花彌覆其內。

the country of Siṃhapura (in North India), about 3,500 li in circumference. To the west it borders the Indus River. The great city is fourteen to fifteen li in circumference. Fifty li east of the city is a stone stupa more than two hundred feet high, where the Buddha traveled. There are more than ten pools and marshes, entirely covered within with four-coloured lotuses.
