次前是蓮花尼化為輪王先見佛處。佛告尼曰非汝先也。有蘇部底（須菩提也）宴坐石室。知諸法空見吾法身。次東南池有龍居焉。恒護聖迹不可輕犯。從此西北減二百里至。

Just in front of this is the place where the nun Utpalavarṇā transformed herself into a wheel-turning king to be the first to see the Buddha. The Buddha told the nun: "It is not you who came first; Subhūti, sitting in tranquil meditation in a stone chamber and knowing that all phenomena are empty, has seen my Dharma-body." Next, in a pool to the southeast, a dragon dwells; it constantly protects the sacred traces and must not be treated lightly. Less than two hundred li northwest from here, one arrives at:
