國城東南十五里大塔。是七百賢聖重結集處　又南減百里。大寺層臺重起。僧學大乘四佛行坐迹　側又一塔。是佛南趣摩揭陀。北顧吠舍釐城中息迹處　寺東三十里。殑伽河南北岸各一塔。是阿難陀分身與二國處。從北岸東北行五百餘里。至。

Fifteen li southeast of the kingdom's capital, a large stūpa marks where the seven hundred sages held the second council. Less than one hundred li farther south, a large monastery has multistoried terraces rising one above another, its monks studying the Mahāyāna, with traces of the four Buddhas walking and sitting. Beside it is another stūpa where the Buddha, heading south toward Magadha, paused his footsteps while looking back northward toward the city of Vaiśālī. Thirty li east of the monastery, on the north and south banks of the Ganges, are stūpas marking where Ānanda divided his body between the two kingdoms.
