恭御陀國（東印度）周千餘里。城都周二十餘里濱海。土熱濕。多有奇寶螺貝真珠大青象等。其俗信外道。天祠百所。異道萬餘人。境內小城數十據山海住。又西南大荒林。行千五百里許。至。

The kingdom of Koṅgoda (Eastern India) is over 1,000 li in circuit. The capital is over 20 li in circuit, bordering the sea. The land is hot and damp. It abounds in rare treasures, conches, pearls, large dark elephants, and the like. The people believe in non-Buddhist ways; there are a hundred deva temples and over 10,000 tīrthikas. Within the territory are several tens of small towns, situated near the mountains and the sea. Going about 1,500 li southwest through a great wilderness forest, one reaches [the following kingdom].
