秣羅矩吒國（南印度）周五千餘里。都城周四十里許。僧少。天祠數百外道甚多露形者。其土舃鹵不滋茂也。
The kingdom of Malakūṭa (Southern India) is over 5,000 li in circuit. The capital is about 40 li in circuit. Monks are few. There are several hundred deva temples, with very many non-Buddhists who are nirgranthas. The soil is saline and not fertile.
