4.14

覿嶺混太象。望崖莫由檢。器遠蘊其天。超步不階漸。朅來越重垠。一舉拔塵染。遼朗中大盼。逈豁遐瞻慊。乘此櫖瑩心。可以忘遺玷。曠風被幽宅。妖塗故死減。

Beholding the peaks, they blend with the Great Primal; / Gazing at the cliffs, there is no way to measure them. / Great vessels hold within their natural endowment; / Transcending steps take no gradual stages. / Striding forth, I cross the manifold boundaries; / In a single lift, I extricate myself from defilements. / Vast and bright, the broad gaze extends into the center; / Wide and open, the far-off view brings contentment. / Riding upon this to purify and polish the mind, / One may thereby forget lingering blemishes. / The expansive wind covers the secluded dwelling; / Upon the deceptive path, the old mortality dwindles.
