曾住鑪峯下。書堂對藥臺。斬新蘿徑合。依舊竹窓開。砌水親開決。池荷手自裁。五年方暫至。一宿又湏回。縱未長歸得。猶勝不到來。君家白鹿洞。聞道亦生苔。

I once dwelt beneath Incense Burner Peak; / The studio faced the terrace of medicinal herbs. / Freshly sprouted vine paths have closed; / As of old, the bamboo window opens. / The stepped water I opened and cleared with my own hands; / The pond lotuses I planted myself. / Only after five years do I arrive for a short while; / After one night I must turn back again. / Even if I cannot return for good, / It is still better than not coming at all. / Your home is at White Deer Grotto; / I hear that it too has grown moss.
