雲觀此山北。與君携手稀。林端涉橫水。洞口入斜暉。乍覺鸞鶴邇。忽為煙霧飛。故人清和客。默會琴心微。丹術幸可授。青龍當來歸。悠悠平生意。此日復相違。

The Cloud Abbey lies north of this mountain; / holding hands with you has been rare. / At the edge of the woods, I cross transverse streams; / at the mouth of the cavern, I enter the slanting glow. / Suddenly I sense that the luan-birds and cranes are near; / abruptly they fly away into the mist and vapors. / My old friend is a pure and harmonious guest, / silently attuning to the subtleties of the zither's heart. / Fortunately, the cinnabar arts may be transmitted; / the Azure Dragon shall return. / The lingering wishes of a lifetime / this day again turn contrary.
