廬山正南面。瀑布古來聞。萬里朝滄海。千尋出白雲。寒聲終自遠。靈派孰為分。除却天台後。平流莫可群。

Facing due south from Mount Lu, / the waterfall has been famed since antiquity. / Ten thousand li, it pays court to the vast sea; / a thousand fathoms, it issues from the white clouds. / Its cold sound is ever far-reaching; / who can divide its numinous stream? / Setting aside Mount Tiantai, / none of the level-flowing waters can rival it.
