Pouring forth from the sacred peak, the spring transforms into water; / spurting into a cascade, rare in the worldly realm. / Though resembling an immortal maiden's stolen weaving, / one does not see Lord Shan gather it and return. / Through myriad ages its hue disdains the bright moon as meager; / a thousand fathoms high, it bravely mimics the white clouds in flight. / If one were to truly say it could be cut and tailored, / the wealthy houses would have already bought it up to make robes.
