4.265

是嶽皆遊遍。南來吳楚間。偶登湖裏寺。疑到海中山。獨樹蒨蘿濕。遙汀白鳥閑。終頃謝浮世。高臥聽潺潺。

I have traveled through all the sacred peaks, / Coming south between Wu and Chu. / By chance I climbed this temple in the lake, / And wondered if I had reached a mountain in the sea. / A solitary tree, lush with trailing vines, is damp; / On distant sandbars, white birds rest in leisurely ease. / In the end, taking leave of the floating world, / I shall recline high up, listening to the murmuring streams.
