搖落山中曙。秋氣滿林隈。螢光映草頭。鳥影出枝來。殘暑避日盡。斷霞逐風開。空返陶潛縣。終無宋玉才。

In fading autumn, dawn breaks in the mountains; / Autumn air fills the curve of the forest. / Firefly glow shines upon the grass tips; / Shadows of birds emerge from the branches. / Lingering summer heat vanishes with the sun; / Broken rosy clouds scatter with the wind. / In vain I return to the county of Tao Qian, / Having after all none of Song Yu's talent.
