4.51

桂席幾千里。名山都未逢。泊舟潯陽郭。始見香爐峯。甞讀遠公傳。永懷塵外蹤。東林精舍近。日暮但聞鍾。

Under cassia-wood sails for several thousand li, / I met with no famed mountain at all. / Only when mooring my boat at the walls of Xunyang / did I first behold Incense Burner Peak. / I once read Master Yuan's biography / and have long cherished his traces beyond the dust. / The Donglin vihāra is close at hand; / as the sun sets, I hear only the bell.
