穿雲透石不辭勞。達地方知出處高。溪澗豈能留得住。終歸大海作波濤。

Piercing clouds and penetrating stone, it begrudges no toil; / only when reaching the plains do we know how lofty its origin was. / How could a mountain stream ever detain it? / In the end it returns to the great sea to form billowing waves.
