辱告伏見。勅旨答臣下審神滅論。聖思淵凝天理孤絕。辯三世則釋義明。舉二事則孝道暢。塞鑽鑿之路。杜異途之口足使魔堞永淪正峰長峻。弟子伏膺至道遵奉天則。喜躍之心寧復恒准。王彬緘和南。

Graced by your notice, I have prostratively seen the imperial decree answering the ministers' examination of the Treatise on the Extinction of the Spirit. The holy thought is profound and congealed; the heavenly principle is uniquely transcendent. In expounding the three times, the Buddhist meanings become illustrious; in adducing the two matters, the way of filial piety flows unimpeded. It stops the paths of far-fetched drilling and shuts the mouths of deviant tracks. It suffices to cause Māra's battlements to sink forever, and the peak of correctness to remain lofty for long. Your disciple prostratively cherishes the supreme Dao and complies with the heavenly norms; how could the leaping joy in my heart be measured by ordinary standards? Wang Binqian pays homage.
