一日曲蒙讌私。預聞茫中書有神形偕滅之論。斯人逕廷不近人情。直以下才。末能折五鹿之角。辱告垂示。聖旨微引孝道發揚。冥致謹當。尋誦永祛蒙惑。弟子王泰頓首和南。

One day, having been graciously granted admittance to an informal feast, I happened to hear that the Secretariat had a treatise claiming the spirit and body perish together. This person was rash and unreasonable, far from human feelings. Merely with my humble talent, I was unable to break the horns of Wulu. Graced by your notice and favored with your demonstration, the holy decree subtly adduces the way of filial piety and brings forth dark accord. I shall respectfully search and chant it to forever dispel ignorance and delusion. Your disciple Wang Tai bows his head and pays homage.
