猥垂班示。至尊所答臣下審神滅論。伏奉淵旨頓祛群疑。天情獨照妙鑒懸覽。故非凡愚所可鑽仰。然常師管見亦竊懷佳求。今復稟承教義。遠尋經旨重規疊矩。信若符契。法師宣揚叡理弘贊聖言。方使二教同歸真俗一致豫得。餐沐誨誘陶染至化。抃擊下風實兼舞蹈。遲比諮覿乃盡衿誠。臨白欣佩不知裁述。伏暅呈。

You have condescended to bestow and show the treatise on the extinction of the spirit answered by the Most Venerable to his ministers. Respectfully receiving these profound intentions, my manifold doubts were suddenly dispelled. The Heavenly mind shines alone, and its wondrous mirror surveys from on high; hence it is not something that the ordinary and foolish can fathom or aspire to. Yet having always followed my narrow view, I also privately harboured an earnest pursuit. Now, once again receiving and upholding these teachings and searching far into the sutra's purports, they repeatedly confirm each other, truly matching like tallies. The Master of the Dharma proclaims the sagely principles and vastly praises the holy words, thereby causing the two teachings to return together and the true and the secular to align as one. Having received and bathed in your instructions and guidance, and been permeated by the supreme transformation, I clap my hands from the lower wind, truly dancing with joy. I look forward to consulting and meeting you soon to express my sincere feelings completely. Writing this with joy and admiration, I know not how to compose it. Presented by Fu Geng.
