道恒等。愚意所執具如前表。精誠微薄不能感悟聖心。累承還詔未蒙慈恕。俯仰憂怖無復心情。

Daobiao and the others: The adherence of our foolish minds is fully as stated in the previous memorials. Our sincerity and devotion are slight and could not awaken the sage mind. Having repeatedly received return edicts without obtaining compassionate pardon, bowing and looking up in anxiety and dread, we no longer have any peace of mind.
