5.31

晉成康之世。車騎將軍庾氷。疑諸沙門抗禮萬乘所明理何。驃騎有答（二家論名在本集）至元興中。太尉桓公亦同此義。謂庾言之未盡。與八座書云。

In the Chengkang era of the Jin dynasty, General of Chariots and Cavalry Yu Bing questioned what principle made it clear that śramaṇas should resist paying court to the lord of ten thousand chariots. The General of Agile Cavalry composed a reply (the titles of both treatises are in this collection). Coming to the Yuanxing era, Grand Defender Duke Huan also shared this view, holding that Yu's statements had not been exhaustive, and wrote a letter to the Eight Ministers:
